Born in 1973 in Elazığ, the artist graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Department of Industrial Design in 1998. For ten years, he worked as a designer at Istanbul Ulaşım A.Ş. and İston A.Ş., contributing to the design of domestic tram vehicles and urban furniture. He received industrial design awards in various fields such as packaging, sanitary ware, furniture, footwear and automobiles.
In 2001, he started to take Thuluth and Naskh lessons from Davud Bektaş and Taliq lessons from Prof. Ali Alparslan, and in 2007 he received Thuluth and Naskh Ijazah (authorisation) from Davud Bektaş and Hasan Çelebi. He worked as Davud Bektaş's assistant in Süleymaniye Library between 2009-2011.
He participated in various group exhibitions in Medina, Dubai, Doha, Algeria, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Istanbul and Ankara. He also took part in Ramadan Mushaf projects of Dubai Meetings (2009, 2013, 2015, 2017), Medina Mushaf Meeting (2010), Algeria International Arab Calligraphy Festival (2013, 2016), Tripoli Lebanon Arab Calligraphy Meeting (2019) and Tripoli Libya Mushaf Exhibition (2022).
He gave Islamic Calligraphy classes at Traditional Arts Academy Küçükçekmece between 2013-2019, Sertarikzade Eyüpsultan between 2015-2017, Sebahattin Zaim University between 2015-2018 and Sulukule Art Academy Fatih between 2017-2019.
Since 2009, the artist, who started to be interested only in the art of calligraphy, resides in Ümraniye, Istanbul.
