She graduated from Selçuk University Faculty of Architecture and worked as an architect in the public sector until 2009. After retiring from General Directorate of İSKİ in the same year, she became interested in miniature art, a branch of Traditional Arts. During this period, she received training in miniature, illumination, tile and watercolour from various teachers in different institutions. She started her miniature education at ISMEK with Berrin Çakin Güç and Meral Aşan and took lessons from Taner Alakuş and Raif Aydın at the National Palaces Classical Turkish Arts Training Centre Yıldız Şale. She then continued her studies with Taner Alakuş at ISMEK Bağlarbaşı Specialised Training Centre and Raif Aydın at ARTEV Art Gallery.
The artist, who participated in many exhibitions and competitions in the institutions where she received education, won the first prize in Miniature branch in the Traditional Arts Competition of Balıkesir Karesi Municipality and the incentive award in the Masters of the Future Traditional Arts Competition of Zeytinburnu Municipality. She continues her miniature works at Pendik Art Academy and individually.
