Born in Bursa in 1980, Elif Aydın graduated from the Department of Cultural Heritage and Tourism. She started her paper marbling art education at Bursa Birlik Foundation in 2003 and continued her education in her own workshop. On the 20th anniversary of her art life, Yılmaz Eneş Hoca showed great humility and honoured her with ijazah certificate.
The artist, who created her own style in the art of paper marbling by giving dimension to marbled papers, combined classical and modern designs in her works. The artist, who was awarded the first prize in the international competition organised in 2016 in the Turkish Islamic Arts Paper Marbling branch, received the third prize in the field of Hatip Ebru (Paper Marbling) in the same year. With the trainings she received in the art of calligraphy and illumination, different Murakka techniques were applied in the art of paper marbling. In 2017, the artist started her training in Bookbinding Art in Istanbul with Mehmet Ali Kunduracıoğlu and continued with Gürcan Mavili and Burak Kara.
In 2007, she started her career as an instructor at BUSMEK and continues her education and art activities with the Nakşı Ebru Art Workshop she opened in 2009. She has taken part in many exhibitions and workshops at home and abroad. With the trainings she has given abroad, she has enabled her students to be employed in various parts of the world.
