Fatma Çağla Şevik

Fatma Çağla Şevik graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Urban and Regional Planning in 2017 with a faculty degree. Between 2017-2024, she worked as an urban planner in the Directorate of Zoning and Urbanisation in the local government. While continuing her duty in local administration, she completed the Urban Design Master's Programme at MSGSU in 2022.

Her interest in cities and art enabled her to cross paths with "Miniature Art". Fatma Çağla Şevik, who became interested in miniature art through personal efforts and research, especially during the pandemic process, started to learn miniature art from scratch, with the desire to learn professionally, in the workshop of Dilek Yerlikaya, who made a difference with the works she produced. Based on traditional miniature art, she aims to look at new approaches and to capture abstract expressions that coincide with her profession.

She is currently studying at Yıldız Technical University in the Urbanism PhD Programme and continues her education in miniature art as a student of Dilek Yerlikaya at Zer Miniature & Design Workshop.
