Merve Dal, originally from Erzincan, was born in Istanbul in 1988. In 2010, she graduated from Eskişehir Anadolu University Open Education Faculty Theology Associate Degree Programme. In 2011, before beginning her artistic journey, she started to take illumination lessons from Simanur Cihangir. She took lessons from Ayten Tiryaki between 2012-2014 and has continued her studies with Nihal Şişman since 2015.
