Ömer Faruk Boyacı

He was born in 1991 in Bursa. After graduating from Zeki Müren Anatolian Fine Arts High School - Painting Department in 2008, he completed his undergraduate education at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University - Industrial Design Department due to his interest in technical design.

In addition to his artistic and technical education, he was highly influenced by Cemal Toy, whom he worked as an assistant throughout his university life. With master-apprentice training, he closely examined cubist artists such as Klee, Mondrian, Picasso and digital art. When he returned to his hometown Bursa, he made a panorama of the city in the light of surveys of historical buildings and engravings. The artist, who has worked on the buildings reflecting the culture and history of the city with all its warmth, contributed to the promotion of Bursa and decorated the streets of the city with his works. With his multidisciplinary approach, he developed projects such as interactive learning models for science centre, museum designs and public art events. With his respect for his family's history of madder, he established the BOYACI brand and combined art, design and education services under a single roof.

While the artist's works bridge the past and the future, they are united in a creative language that he conducts through dualities. He continues to work in his studio in Istanbul and continues to develop new projects with the vision of disseminating art to the society.
