Originally from Rize, the artist was born in Erzurum in 1981. In 2005, she graduated from Atatürk University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Traditional Turkish Handicrafts, and in 2016 she completed her Pedagogical Formation education at Uludağ University. She graduated from Albaraka Türk Art Academy between 2018-2022 with a four-year education from Nilüfer Kurfeyz and Selim Sağlam. She also received Miniature education from Gülçin Anmaç at Albaraka Türk Art Academy between 2019-2020 and graduated from Yıldız Şale Classical Arts Miniature Department in the same period.

Since 2006, the artist has been living in Bursa and has been teaching illumination at BUSMEK since 2007. The artist, who also gave trainings at her personal workshop Zer Mühre Illumination Workshop, gave Illumination classes at Yıldırım Municipality Vocational Training Courses in 2022 and Nilüfer Women's Solidarity Association in 2023.

The artist participated in events such as BUSMEK Group Exhibitions in 2013-2023, Atatürk University Graduation Exhibition in 2005, Erguvan Volunteers Exhibition in 2015, Şeyma Numanoğlu and Students Solo Exhibition (Aşkı Derun) in 2019 and Albaraka Türk Art Academy End of Year Exhibition in 2019. She supports the employment of her students by promoting art with exhibitions and workshops at home and abroad.
