Born in 1993 in Istanbul, Usame Varol completed his primary and secondary education in this city and started theatre at a very early age. The artist, who took his first step into theatre by taking lessons from Hasan Nail Canat at the Eminönü Municipal Theatre at the age of nine, worked as an actor and director's assistant in many paid and unpaid theatres. Since 2017, he started his apprenticeship with Cengiz Samsun and improved himself in both depiction making and acting, and since this year, he has focused on Karagöz in his work. In 2022, he took part in Hatay Karagöz Puppet Festival as Festival Coordinator and Puppeteer. In the same year, he worked as the coordinator of the Red Crescent Academy Karagöz Earthquake Hunter project and performed many shows as a puppeteer. The Museum Card Karagöz at the Museum project, which he initiated in 2024 and served as the project coordination, is still ongoing. Varol, who took part in international projects and performances in India, Iran and Russia during this period, still continues his works in Istanbul.
