Born in 1964 in Istanbul, Yeşim Yıldız Kalaycıoğlu graduated from Fevziye Mektepleri Private Işık High School. She completed her university education at Yıldız University, Department of Restoration.

She carried out professional projects in Paper Marbling, Stained Glass, Mosaic, Ceramic and Decorative Painting arts. In 2004, since she started painting and engraving art in the workshop of master engraving artist Güngör İblikçi, she has participated in domestic and international solo and group exhibitions where she has attracted the appreciation and interest of art lovers with her unique works that she has developed and produced by blending the original printing techniques of engraving art with the restoration techniques she has been trained in and the knowledge and techniques she has acquired from other art branches.
